Obama's Hope and Change / Trump: Grandma Says Obama Was Born in Kenya

This makes me say WTF?  Quoting from the story...

“The grandmother in Kenya is on record saying he was born in Kenya,” Trump said. “The hospital has, not only no birth certificate — or if they have it they should produce it, maybe there is something on it, who knows — but they have no records that he was there. The family is fighting over which hospital in Hawaii he was born in.

“There is not one record, in any hospital in Hawaii, that Barack Hussein Obama was born there,” he added.

One the leading tea party voices in Congress is suggesting that President Obama might have begun planning a government shutdown last year with “malicious” intent.

“Why was it that a few months ago … when the president had both Houses under the control of his party — why did he opt not to pass a budget for fiscal year 2011?” asked Sen. Mike Lee, who helped found the Senate’s Tea Party Caucus earlier this year, according to The Hill.

“It was either irresponsible on one hand or deliberate and malicious on the other with intention to bring about a sequence of events that would culminate inevitably in a government shutdown,” said Lee, R-Utah.

In my opinion Obama is trying a strategy to make the Republicans look like they are causing the Government shutdown.  He's playing political games instead of doing the right thing.  Read the rest of the story at the link below.
Obama's Hope and Change / Obamacare Paid Out $2 Billion to Corporations

What in the world is this BS?!?!?

Quoting from the article...

A little-known provision in the Obamacare legislation has sent $2 billion to corporations, unions and state public employee systems to subsidize health coverage for retirees.

At the current rate, the government could blow through the entire $5 billion budgeted for the program before it is set to end, Byron York of The Washington Examiner reported.

The discovery by investigators for the House Energy and Commerce Committee was made just before a hearing to focus on Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight, which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services.

The CCIO oversees the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program, which was set up to subsidize insurance for workers who retired before they were eligible for Medicare, the paper said.

The early retirees often have trouble getting health insurance, an HHS report said, because of age or chronic conditions, and the program was set up to bridge the gap between retirement and the creation of health-care exchanges provided for in Obamacare come into being in 2014.

The biggest chunk of the money paid out so far has gone to the United Auto Workers, which received over $206 million. AT&T collected $140 million, Verizon $91 million, General Electric $36 million, and General Motors $19 million, the paper said.

State governments have also collected large sums with the Public Employees Retirement System of Ohio receiving $70 million and the Teacher Retirement System of Texas $68 million.

Obama's Hope and Change / Obama's approval hits new low of 42%

Quoting from the article...

President Barack Obama’s approval rating and prospects for reelection have plunged to all-time lows in a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.

Half of the registered voters surveyed for the poll  think that the president does not deserve a second term in office, while 41 percent say he does. In another Quinnipiac poll released just four weeks ago, 45 percent said the president did not deserve reelection, while 47 percent said he did.

The decline in support for a second Obama term comes as his approval rating has dropped 4 percentage points since early March, landing at 42 percent – a record low – in the poll released Wednesday. His disapproval rating has risen from 46 percent to 48 percent.

I would like to share an article about the importance of parents' support when it comes to their child's mixed relationship.

How many of us fear the moment when we have to announce our parents that we have a foreign boyfriend/girlfriend. How many of us fear even more, if the bfriend or gfriend is of another race?

Post your comments under the article please. Thanks!

Funny Stuff! / Irish Viagra
« Last post by George on March 21, 2011, 10:05:59 PM »
An Irish woman of advanced age visited her physician to ask his
advice on reviving her husband's libido.

'What about trying Viagra?' asked the doctor.
'Not a chance', she said. 'He won't even take an aspirin.'
'Not a problem,' replied the doctor. 'Give him an 'Irish Viagra'..
It's when you drop the Viagra tablet into his coffee.  He won't even taste it.
Give it a try and call me in a week to let me know how things went..'

It wasn't a week later when she called the doctor, who directly inquired as to her progress.
The poor dear exclaimed, 'Oh, faith, bejaysus and begorrah! T'was horrid!  Just terrible, doctor!'
'Really? What happened?' asked the doctor.

'Well, I did as you advised and slipped it in his coffee and the effect was almost immediate.
He jumped straight up, with a twinkle in his eye and with his pants a-bulging fiercely!  With one swoop of his arm, he sent me cups and tablecloth flying, ripped me clothes to tatters and took me then and there passionately on the tabletop!  T'was a nightmare, I tell you, an absolute nightmare!'

'Why so terrible?' asked the doctor, 'Do you mean the sex your husband provided wasn't good?'
'Freakin' jaysus, 'twas the best sex I've had in 25 years!  But sure as I'm sittin' here, I'll never be able to show me face in Starbucks again!
